Martyn Ford
is a 320 lbs, 6’8″ bodybuilder with an inspirational story. He was a
talented cricket player in his youth, on his way to building a
successful career. However, during one of his training sessions, an
injury struck him. After the injury, Martyn got a severe case of
glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis), which left him sidelined for
around 12 months; a period which was crucial for his career
development. As a result, Martyn had to abandon his dreams of becoming a
professional cricket player, and look for something else to build his
career upon.
It was during this time he decided to “enter the world” of fitness
and bodybuilding; seeing it as an ideal way to channel his frustrations
that built up inside of him throughout the months he was unable to play
cricket. But, soon, this frustration was replaced with a passion for
lifting “the iron” – he became “captivated” by his progress in the gym.
Martyn hasn’t looked back since then – through years of hard work
inside, and outside of the gym, he’s become a famous fitness model,
actor, and online sensation.
Brock Lesnar
is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and former
football player. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the
Raw brand.
Lesnar faced Randy Couture for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at
UFC 91 on November 15. Lesnar beat Couture via a technical knockout in
the second round to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion.
Lesnar faced Carwin at UFC 116 on July 3 to unify the heavyweight
titles. Early in the first round, Carwin knocked Lesnar down with punch,
gave him a cut above his left eye and used a ground and pound attack
the rest of the round. In the next round, Lesnar was able to take Carwin
down, attain a full mount, then move into side-control and finish the
fight with an arm triangle choke. With the victory, Lesnar became the
undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion, earning his first Submission of the
Night and giving Carwin his first loss. The win also tied a UFC record
for most consecutive successful UFC Heavyweight Championship defenses.
On July 7, 2018, Lesnar stormed the cage after the main event
fight at UFC 226 and challenged the new UFC Heavyweight Champion, Daniel
Cormier. On July 8, USADA confirmed that Lesnar had begun the process
to get back into their drug-testing pool.
If these two giants stepped into the cage who would come out as the King of Monsters?
